Each year thousands of Canadians are touched by breast cancer. It not only impacts individuals living with the disease but their families, friends and loved ones as well. In 2007, six female polo teams gathered at the Toronto Polo Club to play the first ever “Polo for the Cure” tournament. This “all women” tournament was created to raise money and awareness for a cause that touches the lives of so many people.
This exciting, action-packed women’s only polo tournament is also a fund-raiser for the Breast Cancer Program at Southlake Regional Health Centre. Women players from all over Canada come to play at this wonderful event, now entering its tenth year.
Sponsorship opportunities and reserved tables are available. For more information please contact Keri Weir at (416) 999-8528. Tournament dates are July 15 – 17, 2016. See www.poloforthecure.com
